La ceremonia se celebrará el próximo 14 de septiembre en el Peacock Theater de Los Ángeles y tendrá a la actriz Mariska Hargitay como presentadora, siendo la primer mujer en ocupar este rol en 15 años. Será transmitida en vivo por NBC y Peacock.
Los encargados de dar a conocer la lista de nominados desde el Wolf Theatre del Saban Media Center de la Academia de Televisión fueron Liza Colón-Zayas, quien ya ganó esta estatuilla por su trabajo en The Bear, y Jeff Hiller.
La serie que más nominaciones tiene en su haber es The Pitt en 25 categorías, superando por apenas una terna a Hacks. En cuanto a las plataformas de streaming HBO Max se queda 127, lo siguen Netflix y Disney con 11 cada una.
Además, uno de los grandes hitos es que Bad Bunny tiene la mayor cantidad de nominaciones de todos los shows de medio tiempo del Super Bowl. Su presentación en el Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show obtuvo 9 nominaciones, superando así a Lady Gaga que consiguió 6 en 2017.
